i need a pep talk. dh has one living grandparent who lives about a ten hour drive from where we live. we are thinking of going to visit and i'm not very gung-ho about it. it's going to be a huge expense for us and a really long trip. three dcs under 5. i don't think i should veto it, should I? op: ok, so i guess we'll be going. just checked orbitz and it'll cost over $2k to fly with everyone so i guess we'll be driving. i should be grateful we have this opportunity. i'd be thrilled if dcs could meet my grandparents and i'd probably be really excited about the trip if that were the case.
