EC is totally diverse in religion - there will be kids of all religions there!! For sure. We know lots and lots of families there, it should NOT be a problem [ Reply | More

We are at FL and our class is 1/3 Jewish, nearly 2/3 christian, and two hindu children. Our class is also slightly more than 1/3 black. I don't think you would worry about your white child being a minority, so you don't have to worry about your christian child being a minority either. [ Reply | More

nope. my stepcousin is Jewish and lives in Bronxville, has three daughters (though I guess technically they are not jewish b/c his wife isn't but the girls are half jewish and have a jewish last name). They are very happy there. [ Reply | More

I'm surprised at the answers here. When we were thinking of moving to Westchester we looked at Bronxville and our realtor was very clear that while there are Jewish families, they are the kind, in her words, who pretend they are not. She did not think a family that went to holiday services, planned to have a bar mitzvah etc. would feel comfortable there. She suggested Pelham Manor, which has similar houseing stock, and excellent school district and a smiliarly easy commute to the city. The Jewish community there is small, but there is a local active temple. [ Reply | More

Bronxville mom here - she definitely will not be at all. Things are changing in the square mile and i've found the school pleasantly more diverse every year. (the elementary school that is, not so much the preschool we go to) [ Reply | More
