what do you have to provide in the form of documentation to prove residency within a certain zone for schools? and when is the age cutoff, sept 1 or oct 1? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Cutoff for public, December 31st. Residency, Con Ed bill. OR signed lease plus pay/tax documentation (like preprinted pay stub). No credit card bill, phone bill, driver's license, or anything else. They are VERY particular. [ Reply | More

Some schools are a little more strict than others. Just call the school and ask. If you are trying to fake it, just use a different name. [ Reply | More

But it all has to clear the DOE. The school may accept something else, but then it can come back as rejected as the DOE. They are getting very strict. [ Reply | More
