Your advice would be greatly appreciated. I am going away to Las Vegas with my husband for our five year anniversary, in mid-July. It would be a Saturday to Tuesday. My daughter is 4.5 months and exclusively breastfed. I tried to pump last week for my friend to watch her, but nothing came out (you may recall my earlier email). Has anyone here gone away and left their baby and were able to pump while away with no problems? Did your baby take a bottle without a problem? I don't mind putting her on formula while I am away. Btw, I have a Medela Pump in Style, but since I haven't been able to get anything from it, I am thinking of renting a hospital grade pump. But can I bring the hospital grade pump on the plane etc? Please give me any advice that you may have. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Will your dc take a bottle at all? No idea about pumps as I never had any success with pumping. If you aren't able to pump efficiently your supply may drop and also your dc might not restart bf after a break from it. [ Reply | More ]
