Did anyone buy a "convertable" crib and actually convert it? It seems like a good idea in theory - but I wonder how it actually works... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i think they all convert to some degree. my son is 2.5, so i just looked into the crib conversion kit for his crib - but it is soooo ugly and expensive. i'm just going to buy a cheap toddler bed to get him through the next year. [ Reply | More ]

Ugly in what way? Isn't it just your crib with side rails? [ Reply | More ]

The front of our crib comes off. It looks fine, DS still loves it at 2.5. [ Reply | More ]

We did, but we went to a twin bed in the end. Not much more expensive than the conversion kit and will last [ Reply | More ]
