It depends on the Park and the playground. Most in Central and Riverside are in pretty good shape. I never had a problem with DD playing in them. Some people freak out about it, but I'm not a germophobe. [ Reply | More

They are scooped more frequently than most litter pans but the cats which use them are ferrule so the waste is dirtier. That said, I let my kids play in them all the time. [ Reply | More

just let them play in it - the more germs they are exposed to the stronger their immune system will be (and that includes strength against asthma and allergies) [ Reply | More
