How much per hour would you pay a mother's helper / babysitter? Young teen, in my neighborhood. Most of the time I would be working at home or within 5 mins of home. My kids 8 & 10. We're in the 'burbs, if that matters. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

We have a mother's helper, pay her $8/hr when I'm home, $10/hr when I'm out. But I think for kids your age, you need someone more than just a few years older than them. [ Reply | More
