If I ideally want to have a baby next Sept/October/Nov, when should I go off the pill and start TTC? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

np -0 she is just saying that, as soon as you go off of the pill, you can get pregnant right away. Happened to me after being on the pill for 10 years. Got preg two weeks later. (NOw, I've been ttc no.2 for 6 mos, so sometimes it is short and sometimes long, but be preapred for right away.) [ Reply | More

There is no reason for it. It's fine to get pg right away - no risk to the db and no increased risk of m/c. [ Reply | More

You can go off the pill and get PG right away w/o any harm. THey only want you to wait so they know you can have "natural cycles". That being said- I just went off June 1 and my cycles are all a mess. Go off now and use other protection. [ Reply | More
