After reading all of the insane posts on this board about NY schools I have officially decided we're moving far, far away from NYC when db is schoolage. You are all crazy! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

one thing i will say is that most of the people i have met at open houses, registration, etc. have been so normal - i think the wait for those results this year truly made everyone crazy (myself included) - and the way they did placements - basically only 99s getting into citywides - really intensified the importance of the test scores. it is what you make of it and up until the end wasn't really a big deal.
