Going for a FT job interview this wk back in old state & DH just got a call for an interview as well. Has anyone relocated with at least 1 dc & figured out how to get daycare with only 2 mths notice? Afraid we won't be able to stagger our job acceptances (assuming we both get at least 1 offer) correctly. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Boston area. Sigh. Any tips? Getting so nervous--and excited--about the possibility. Left 1 year ago while I was pregnant. DD is almost 11 mo & I worry about her getting quality care. She will benefit from us enjoying the area more & having more free entertainment & spending less money on gas. (Granted we will spend more on housing.) [ Reply | More ]

most cities I've lived in, it is hard to get into the "best" daycares on short notice, but the others you should be fine. [ Reply | More ]
