dd has a friend over. this kid does not want to do anything. dd finally asked her "why did you come if you don't want to play anything" and she said "because my mother made me". gee, thanks very much. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i'd love to give this girl the benefit of the doubt and say that she's shy. but the longer it lasts, the less i think it's shyness. i think she just doesn't want to be here. i'm especially upset b/c i woh and dd doesn't usually have the opportunity to do playdates so this was a special thing for her. whatever. i'm sure dd will get over it.
