runner moms, i need your advice. I just started running - so far i'm running about 1.5 miles every other day (pathetic i know). should i be increasing the distance slowly or making myself for for x amount of time? Also, when will my butt stop flapping? I feel it in my legs but not butt. will that get smaller eventually? Thanks! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would work on getting up to 3 miles, then once you can do that comfortably spend two of your runs trying to do 3 miles faster, and 1 of them trying to go farther. I am sure your butt will get smaller soon, running is great exercise. Also, if you can stick with it for about 6 months, it will probably become a lifelong habit. Good luck! [ Reply | More ]

I would increase the time that you run, then increase speed. You'll see a difference in 6 weeks - GL! [ Reply | More ]
