Vacation question- thinking of going away in Aug w/DH and our 3 month old. Where can we go in the carribean that is very nice (5 start hotel) but baby friendly? We were thinking if the beach or pool had a cabana or one of those tents we could keep baby in the shade. Any advice on where to go? TIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would highly recommend Pineapple Fields in Eleuthera, Bahamas. A little more rustic, but gorgeous. Not a hotel, but condos with all the amenities and cleaning crew. It's the BEST place on earth. You'd have to fly out of NY to Ft. Lauderdale, then switch planes. In total about 4 hrs? I could also recommend The Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas.
