My 2.5 year old hasn't had a vegetable in months and has eaten meat on maybe 2 occasions. I am sick over her eating habits. When will it change? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

She eats what's on the plate or goes hungry. Don't make your home into a diner. [ Reply | More ]

There's a great book about how to deal with this kind of thing without stressing out: "How to Get Your Kid to Eat, But Not Too Much" by Ellyn Satter. [ Reply | More ]

try sneaking veggie/meat into her meals. cut chicken tenders into stars w/ meat shear w/ honey mustard dipping sauce... make meat an event. try pizza w/ veggies on it or involve her in the pizza making process - olives for eyes, tomato nose, spinach hair, red pepper mouth. if that doesn't work, do what the other moms mentioned... she'll eat when she gets hungry enough. good luck!
