They hire experienced journalists, usually. People who have written about that particular line of work who can make the transition from writing about the business to writing for the CEO about the business [ Reply | More ]

Well, yes it is. I have an Masters in Fine Arts in creative writing. I've written a novel and published a lot, including magazine pieces on many topics. Now I'm looking for work writing in the business world. Need $. [ Reply | More ]

np:ugh. you couldn't be more wrong. It IS a writing degree -- a terminal degree, in fact, similar to an MBA for a business person. While it is diff't from a journalism degree, it is a respected credential. The issue is that creative writing is subjective and most creative fields are competitive and difficult to break into.
