I was about to sell my bunting on EBAY when I realized I may need it next year. Should I keep it? DC will be four in the fall and we have to walk to preschool everyday. Cabs not an option where I live. We rarely use the stroller but if its a bitter cold day would you put a 4 yo in it? It's a toasty toddler that opens at the bottom. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I guess we used it a couple of the days here when it was 17 degrees. Not many this winter but stroller is so much faster for me than walking and pulling him along. [ Reply | More ]

when i see kids older than 3 in a stroller I assume they are mentally or physically incapacitated. [ Reply | More ]

that's a stupid thing to say. in manhattan there's so much walking involved and it's just too much for many 4yo and even 5yo. [ Reply | More ]

A 5 yo shouldn't be in a stroller, even in manhattan. [ Reply | More ]

In the city? I've seen plenty normal looking older kids with mothers running to get them to school in strollers. [ Reply | More ]

i see them too -- if there's nothing wrong with the kid, then there's something wrong with the mother. NO reason a 4 or 5 year old should be in a stroller if he has 2 working legs. [ Reply | More ]

ITA. My twins were walking all over the place when they were 3yo, which is when I got rid of the stroller completely. A 4yo can walk [ Reply | More ]

Twins moms don't count. All of my friends with twins are much more hardcore out of necessity. [ Reply | More ]

Well, if 2 3yos can walk, certainly 1 4yo can walk [ Reply | More ]

who cares what you assume? It's just mean you are judgmental, but what does this have to do with op's question? [ Reply | More ]
