My mil has spent a few weekends at our country house when we haven't been there. She has been going in to my drawers and wearing my shirts (bottoms don't fit). I feel a bit strange about it. . . she never asked. . . but I don't want to make a big deal about it. Is there any nice way to tell her to be more considerate without offending? just put them away next time and make it noticable so she knows it's intended this way [ Reply | More ]

NP: that's not "away" to her enough, though. You have to put them in a box, seal it, and leave it in the closet [ Reply | More ]

The thing to do is openly get her two shirts and pajamas and tell her you got them for her. You need to do it in person because I note won't work well. [ Reply | More ]

Isn't that kind of passive-aggressive? [ Reply | More ]

IT totally depends upon the way it's done. It could be an honest attempt to satisfy her need, which is a really nice thing to do. It's actually not aggressive, it's kind to give gifts ... [ Reply | More ]

Get two or three horrendously obscene dildos and put them in your shirt drawers. She'll stay out for sure! [ Reply | More ]
