Hi, I'm the OP who was wondering about weird symptoms on left side of her face. I called a nurse online service, and she gave me the following possibilities: temporal arteritis, which is the most serious and is probably what the or who suggested I go to the ER was talking about; the next is cluster headaches, which sound the closest, including the rash and the eye involvement, but she says the pain is very severe (hard to figure what that means; I'm used to working through migraines), and finally, ocular migraines, which I think I've had, so it's probably not that. She recommended www.healthatoz.com as a reputable site to research any of these. Thanks again, ladies, for all your help! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Ah, interesting. When she said it's associated with drop to your knees pain, I actually though, I wonder if that was a guy describing that. I think most women handle pain better than men. [ Reply | More ]

After two natural births, I agree. A splinter - really a splinter in his foot - had my DH hopping across the room and yelling for me yesterday. [ Reply | More ]
