was at a party this weekend for a friend of DH. I like him and his wife, but att he party all of their friends were like tall wedge-heeled clones of one another. It was like a suburban cul-de-sac exploded and released everyone for a night with the "city folk". Why would someone choose to live in a "community" like that ? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

np ssoooooo - where do you live? Do you really dress all that differently than your neighbors? People tend to flock towards people who are like themselves. Think about the 60's and how everyone wanted to be an individual but they all dressed alike. Human nature. Stop fighting it [ Reply | More ]

By community I meant one of those suburban neighborhoods where all the houses look the same and - apparently - there's an unspoken dresscode... clique-like but after school and all that... icky [ Reply | More ]

I'm the other Atlantan talking above to you, and while I agree that it's not my style, it's really not that bad. My sister lives in Kennesaw in a similar community and they really like it. It's safe, it's predictable and it's actually becoming diverse. So - while I would have to hang myself if I were forced to live there, it's not all bad [ Reply | More ]
