Traveling with 16mo. Do I need to bring carseat on the plane? I saw a post about not traveling w/ carseat for 2 yo... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

If you bought a ticket for the 16 m/o, do yourself a favor and bring the car seat - it's more comfortable for DC than the plane seat. A 2 y/o must have a ticket, and often their legs are long enough to kick the seat in front of them from the carseat, so the carseat is more trouble than it's worth. [ Reply | More

actually, by the time dd was about 16mo, she was better in a regular seat. the car seat makes everyone feel very crowded, and some of them don't fit in the seat anyway. not fun to carry around the airport either. [ Reply | More
