sometimes i feel so overwhelmed by mothers who prep their 3/4 yrs old kids to take tests or do those special activities. i mean, if you were zoned for a good school and knew that you will send your kid there, would you put them through this? i find some parents to be just crazy about this. why cannot we let the kids be kids at that age? signed: a mom from abroad. i totally agree with you and i was born and raised in nyc. not only is it crazy but studies have shown over and over that this kind of environment for children is not good. i raise my children differently than those mothers who do test prep and the like. just ignore those people and focus on what you really want your children to learn [ Reply | More
