I bought a gently-used Rafe handbag off of Ebay. Now I am worried it is a knockoff, something I'm against. Anything I can do to tell if it's the real thing? I know, next time I'll just buy from the Rafe web site or retailer. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I don't know how to tell... but next time use this site: http://www.portero.com/ They have experts that certify everything. Of course it is more expensive than ebay, but also far more reliable. I think that I read about them in NYT. [ Reply | More ]

Knockoffs are not usually sold as used. Also, I don't believe Rafe bags are a big counterfeit item - not being snarky. [ Reply | More ]
