My 3 yo son has been having out-of-control tantrums about strangely illogical things (crying in the morning because I drained the water of last night's bath, wanting a truck he saw to turn around so he can see it again, not wanting me to go to the bathroom, etc.). He become totally inconsolable. His tantrums last anywhere btwm 5 and 25 minutes. It really scares me. Please, I am nervous so if you are going to flame me, please do so in a constructive way. thanks! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

It started in the past 3 weeks or so. I can't identify what perhaps changed in our environment [ Reply | More ]

Give it more time - its probably just a phase. I remember really worrying about a particular behavior and then it would just vanish (to be replaced by something else of course) [ Reply | More ]

I think it's normal - sounds like my 3yo DD anyway. We have started calmly telling her to go to her room if she wants to scream. Seems to be helping a little but I think it's just a stage they go through [ Reply | More ]
