What do you pay a full-time (Mon.-Fri) nanny in NYC for 3 kids - two are in school until 3 or 4pm? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

$15-18/hr. On a weekly salary, the hourly is less for more hours. So if by f/t you mean 40 hours, you need to pay more per hour (720/wk)than if it is, say, 55 hours (825/wk). [ Reply | More ]

np: i don't think you need to be paying $800, even if it's 50 hours, if 2 kids are in school until 3pm. [ Reply | More ]

it depends on the circumstances. It the two older ones are in two different schools and nanny has to do pick up and drop off with baby in tow for both older kids, I could see paying 800 a week [ Reply | More ]
