does your ped know a lot about sleep and sleep issues and have a perspective on what to do if you approach him/her with a particular problem? I love my ped but he makes me feel a little silly when I ask him things. He just says I should be grateful ds sleeps thru the night (which of course I am). I just need someone to give me some more concrete guidance. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

pretty common for peds to not know a ton about sleep issues. they get what they pick up as parents or if they bother to read the sleep books. it's not like it's a subject in med school. [ Reply | More ]
