I have a part-time sitter. If she calls in sick, do I pay for the day or not? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

there you go. you set a precedent, but I would have a conversation about this now-say you paid before, you are going to limit sick days to 5 days per yr or something which you pay, after that unpaid or use vacation (which I hope you discussed with her too) [ Reply | More ]

either way is ok, but you should decide that before it happens. [ Reply | More ]
