Give me a break. Throwbacks. If he likes to pretend to cook, get him a kitchen! I never understood how play kitchens are just for girls but the "great chefs" of the world are all men. Please. [ Reply | More ]

Oy. If he's interested in what happens in the kitchen (and aren't most kids curious about where their food comes from), get him the kitchen. [ Reply | More ]

I bought one for my ds. He was always "cooking" for me. My dds were born 4 years later and now they use it. [ Reply | More ]

He will play with it for many years, in many ways, with all his friends whom come over and will delight in making 'meals' for you. You will love him having one. My fave is a white wooden on from constuctive playthings; it comes as a set with a sink/stove combo and a fridge. It's gender neutral in design, will take a pounding and will be well passed on or resold. The benefits of that set of pretend play are vast. [ Reply | More ]
