Ummm, no. They encourage breastfeeding, but do not say that less than 6 months is pointless. There are antibodies in colostrum. So even if you stop breastfeeding before your milk comes in, db benefits. [ Reply | More

Don't feel guilty - pumping is a PITA! Six months of bf'ing is great! BTW - I stopped pumping at 4months, but continued breastfeeding. DB had bottles of formula when I wasn't with her, and I breastfed when I was with her. [ Reply | More
