anyone been to the bahamas? want to go for a week with dh and 3yo ds and need a decent place to stay. want on a beach, but it doesn't have to luxury. thoughts? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

We stayed at Atlantis and the kids had a great time (6 and 3yo) because there is so much to do without venturing far. Because they had a great time, we got to relax too. [ Reply | More

We went in Feb, so not too crowded, plus we got a great deal at the main tower (forget the name). But you're right, if it were under normal circumstances we probably wouldn't have had such a great experience. It's a great self-contained resort though. [ Reply | More

we went at Spring break and i thought it was a parking lot in Florida...but I think I would go back for a shrot trip (ie long weekend) when my kids are 9 and 12 and up as it seems like fun for that age group. [ Reply | More
