TMI, but please respond! (this is when I really wish we could still post inside). Here goes: This morning I noticed I was a bit sore in the anus area and during my shower I reached back and felt a little growth of some sort. Is this a hemorroid (sp)? I've never had one before. How did I get it and more importantly how do I get rid of it? I've been dealing w/ an anal fissure for around a year. I've had a colonoscopy so I know it's nothing more than that. I know the options and just planned on dealing w/ it - drinking water, eating fiber, etc. So did the fissure turn into a hemorroid or are they two separate things? Yes I'll call doc tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone has BTDT. TIA!!! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Sorry, I don't know if they are two separate things, but there is over the counter hemorrhoid medicine at the pharmacy. I would try that in the mean time. [ Reply | More
