sigh. ds chased dd around the house and hit her in the head with a small toy. (i strongly suspect dd instigated this event). the toy broke. i took away the toy and threw it in the garbage b/c he hit with it. dd was crying b/c she got hit in the head. ds was crying b/c i threw the toy away. db was watching in absolute fascination. dh was hiding in the bathroom. i think i need a drink.
