The POINT of TT private school is education. This is to the OP who expected every TT graduate to run for President. The two women you met have far better educations, knowledge of and appreciation for art, literature, history and music than you could ever have. I completely disagree. I went to a TT school and I don't feel so much more educated than my peers now. That's bullshit -- and fantasy thinking to justify $30K a year. It's about prestige and connections and little more. Half the teachers I had were laughably bad and cheating was RAMPANT. [ Reply | More
