We just received our school packet from dd's preschool. I'm a little shocked by the number of school holidays. Why is it necessary to close down for 2-3 days around most holidays (2 days for Columbus Day, 3 days for Thanksgiving, etc)? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Par for the course. We attended a Jewish preschool, so add to the usual list of holidays all of the Jewish holidays. You get used to it. [ Reply | More
