What's more important to you? Academics or not being a minority? BTW, if they offer Mandarin, that would be a big plus for me. On the other hand, if they're too traditional/structured (which most DOE schools are), then I would not like it. If the white school is progressive, I might like it more despite low test score. Huh? Some of the schools in Chinatown boast higher test scores than majority white schools. Look at DOE reports and insideschools ratings. Their scores are through the roof, including English. [ Reply | More
