any Hunter moms on? I have two questions. One, considering homeschooling my dc for first grade and wondering if you could tell me what your dc learned in first grade math, reading? Can handle the rest, just curious about standards. And the second question, does Hunter have a psychologist that works with the children if they are having problems? Or do they have a list of recommendations? If schools is still in session I'll call Monday, but I think they are out already. Thank you. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Hunter curriculum is 1 or 2 grades advanced. But there are many kids who are 3 or 4 grades advanced and they form small groups to go at their pace. [ Reply | More ]

Yes there is a school psychologist. In terms of the other stuff it really is at their own pace--some kids reading at 1st grade level, some at 5th or 6th. math varies by 2-3 grades too. [ Reply | More ]
