We are thinking about making the move from W. Village to Brooklyn. Going to look at places in Boerum Hill and Carroll Gardens tomorrow. Any advice? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I prefer CG and cobble hill to boerum heights. there's a big housing project there, don't let the realtor steer you there [ Reply | More

It's Boerum Hill and there are big housing projects everywhere and the one in BH is not bad. Boerum Hill is not bad. 261 is great, too! I can't stand people who give advice on neighborhoods who don't know the neighborhoods. BH and CG are right next to each other! [ Reply | More

Boerum Hill is closer to Brooklyn Heights, so more subway options. However, Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens are a bit more quiet but served by the F/G lines. I lived in the area for 7 years and loved it! Good luck, I hope you find an apt and that you enjoy the area as much as we did. [ Reply | More
