WWYD? With my first dd, I never went into labor on my own (no dilation, no effacement, no contractions) and was induced 1 week late. This time, my doctor has offered a scheduled induction so we can plan for visiting family to help take care of dd. I'm really a "let nature take its course" person, and if I hadn't had a late induction the first time, or if the induction hadn't gone well, I wouldn't even consider it, but now I'm thinking about it. Thoughts? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

if the induction went well, it might again. but you could also risk having a c-section. it's really your choice! you shouldn't let doc pressure you, just do what works best for you and what you feel right doing. (signed mom who was induced after water broke and nothing happened -- had c-section, then was scheduled for 2nd c.) [ Reply | More ]

thanks. The doc isn't pressuring at all - just put it out there as an option. I fear the c/s. [ Reply | More ]

Suggestion: Reflexology is a gentle, safe and non-invasive method to assist with inducing labor. Check out this link, http://www.wholecreations.com/wombfull.html [ Reply | More ]
