Diversity means having a few minority/immigrant kids in my son's class so that he can benefit from being "exposed" to a different culture. It's all about making my kid's experience an enriching one. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Another mom of a minority dc here, and yup. We're quite used to it but shouldn't have to be. White entitlement is scary, especially when you realize it mid-life like we did, adopting a minority dc after living white entitlement all along. People have no clue how racist their thinking is, even their well-meant thinking.
