I posted earlier this week about my visiting MIL. Need to vent again. She keeps suggesting that I have dinner waiting on the table for my dh when he gets home. I work FT and don't get home until 7 pm. DH gets home betw 7 and 8 pm. What is she thinking??? That I'm going to walk in, walk directly to the kitchen and start cooking? Oh, and I've been the primary breadwinner for the last 2-3 years. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

the thing with someone like that is that nothing you do will ever be good enough. it's taken 10 years, 5 SILs, 3 MILs (2 step) and a crazy FIL to figure that out. [ Reply | More

I would say OH I wish I could but I get home at 7 pm. If you are worried about dinner you could always bring over some meals for the freezer. [ Reply | More
