DS has a fever of 103.7--no other symptoms except that he's pretty tired. Ped can't see him until this afternoon, but we're supposed to leave for my in-laws this morning (DS loves it there). WWYD? (It's not an option to leave after ped appointment--it's go in the morning or don't go.) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

That's a pretty high fever. I would give him some baby motrin (tylenol doesn't work for my kids' fevers) and if it doesn't go away, see ped. If it does and he seems ok, I think I'd go. GL. [ Reply | More ]

you want ot know if the fever persists though which you can't know if you keep them on the meds. you need to give a break to retest temp. [ Reply | More ]

In-laws are in CT--not far. We'd have to go to the ER out there if DS got sicker. [ Reply | More ]
