We’re leaving NYC and returning to Europe, and it is breaking our hearts to leave behind our brilliant nanny, Felicia. We’re looking for a nice family for her. • Has looked after our daughter for the last two years (since she was four months old) – Felicia is very caring, kind, patient, loving and extremely attentive to our child’s health, safety and development. • Very committed to our daughter’s development and education. On her own initiative, she found local story-time and music classes and brought them to our attention. Our daughter knew all of her letters by 22 months, and is ahead of her peers in language and general problem-solving; but most importantly she is an extremely happy, content child. • Non-smoker and non-drinker. Comes from a very stable and nice extended family (we’ve met them and been a family wedding!) Very good values. • Strong network of other nannies and children in our area (UWS). Our daughter has many friends, and has developed good social skills, thanks to Felicia. • Keeps our apartment in immaculate condition and is very flexible when emergencies arise. • Extremely reliable; she has never unexpectedly missed a day of work. • Preference is to work in the Upper West Side. • Excellent references (including ourselves) I can’t emphasize how great Felicia is. When they see her, our visitors and relatives rave about how great she is with our daughter. Other parents have even stopped us in our building’s lobby and also in the street to tell us what a wonderful nanny we have. okay this is nuts, but years ago there was a nanny in my building who we thought was amazing. Is she by chance from the dominican republic and has a daughter who is very pretty and in her 20's. [ Reply | More
