Tha "apartheid" thing cracks me up. Let's assume that the early testing of kids has it right (not saying, but for arguments sake). Instead of g&t classes, everyone goes to a zoned school. And, there are enrichment programs for the kids who need it. Well, most of those zoned schools are also racially segregated, and even if they were not, if we assuming "testing" got it right, the kids would then become "segregated" for enrichment, further reinforcing old stereotypes, in a much more *in you face" way as they kids in 2nd and 4rd grade notice that the high achievers and "enriched" kids are not their black classmates. not racist at all and not my personla assumption, but right now NEST and LL are pretty much all white and people are objectin got sending their child to an apartheid situation. [ Reply | More
