Has anyone registered at NEST yet? I'm not getting a very warm feeling from talking on the phone to them. And is there any kind of welcome for the kids like there seems to be at Anderson? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

they were very nice when I called; nice lady told me 'congratulations' - i had to call the registration person several times before getting my appt. set up, but i finally did. I wouldn't worry about it. they have to be swamped - remember they have 2x's as many kids as anderson to register, etc. [ Reply | More

We registered at Nest this week and had no problems. There will be an orientation - they have you address and envelope they will use to mail the information. [ Reply | More

My son started NEST last year. There was no welcome for them last year. I never would have thought or expected there to be one. You mean like have a welcome now, then send the kid home for the summer? In all honesty, as a current parent, I'd rather they focus on the kids there now. They have a couple of half days at the beginning of the year to ease kids into Kindergarten. [ Reply | More

We did it this week and thought they were quite warm. There is one guy who is dealing with all registration, so he is swamped. I also saw the principle in the office (while I was filling up the form), and I thought she looked much sweeter person up close. (She looked kind of stern in OH) I'm very happy to be at NEST and can't wait see you guys in September! [ Reply | More
