we did nothing but buy a little cake for dc and take pictures. I think it is just so NYC over the top to have a huge party for this with a zillion adults. seems it would just stress out the kid. plus, a big waste of $$$ [ Reply | More

Booked a zoo party. DD was getting a lot of invites from other kids parties. So, we wanted to make sure that those kids did not feel left out of a party for DD. It was easy and fun and done in 2 hours. [ Reply | More

No, I didn't care about DD missing a social scene. I felt bad that the other kids were kind enough to invite DD that DD should be kind back and invite them to her party. She is very social and we hang out at the cafe a lot. She makes a lot of friends because she is very intense, talkative (she has about 20 words at 12 mos. ) and touchy feely. [ Reply | More
