What time should an 8-week-old usually go to bed? DS was exhausted at 7:45 so I put him down, but has been fussing off/on since then. Was I right to put him down for the night, or should I just have given him a short nap? Evenings are so confusing for me! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

At 8 weeks, I was still playing it by ear. But usually in the 9 PM range. [ Reply | More ]

8 weeks is way too young for them to be prdictable, imo. just do what feels right from day to day and a pattern will emerge over time. [ Reply | More ]

8 week olds are still kind of all over the place. . . 7:45 sounds a little early. We often took dc for a walk at that time of night and she would sort of zone out or nap, then wake up when we returned. Sleep for the "night" around 10 or 11. [ Reply | More ]
