Looking for a new OBGYN to start TTC. Saw Jane Galasso for 5 years and recently have been seeing Anna Barbieri. I like Barbieri, but its very difficult to get appts and she seems so worn out - plus she is out on leave. I prefer an office that will call in scripts without a visit too. Pros / cons of Dr. Wu at manhattan women's health? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I was very unhappy with the level of care over the last year. They screwed up the results on a pap and then were strange about it. and terrible bedside manner during a colpo. I just didn't feel comfortable anymore. But sometimes I wonder if I should have stayed with her anyway. [ Reply | More

i ask bc i went to her partner for many years (Lissa Hirsch) and many of my friends see her too and all love her. i never actually saw Galasso but occasionally spoke o her on the phone when she was on call and she seemed really nice. Their 3rd partner Dr. Russel does OB and at lease one of my friends had her deliver her baby and she said her experience was terrific. FWIW. [ Reply | More

I saw Hirsch once when Galasso was out and I liked her. I sort of miss the ease of that office - it was so easy to get an appt, they called in scripts etc. [ Reply | More
