np: it's not that simple. he's bending the rules. there was a whole article recently about how he's taking donations from lawyers who work for the lobbyists but it's not officially in the lobbyist name. i'm not saying i expect him to research every donation. but i am saying he's not completely in the clear on this issue. You are exactly right. The lobbying groups organize pools of individual donors, rather than giving it all at once from their own coffers. But the impact and the obvious corruption is exactly the same, and Obama will do whatever suits him whenever he feels like it. He cannot be trusted. [ Reply | More

Actually, Hillary's debt is one of the reasons he opted out of public financing. There is an expectation from Clinton supporters that he will help pay down her $20 million+ in campaign debt. There's no limit to the amount of money he can raise (unlike McCain), which was evident during the primary. I think he is attempting to raise as much money as he can early in order to run his campaign and pay down her debt. [ Reply | More
