repost: would you choose the easiest but most expensive childcare option or would you choose the most stressful but least expensive option? we can afford both but whatever we don't spend will be our savings. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

less expensive option woudl mean i commute with dd and will be very rushed getting to work on time. (knowing myself i'd be rushed anyway, but this would be set up so that i *couldn't* get to work early, instead of just being late every day. dh doesn't see the difference but i do). and most of the difference in cost would just be b/c i'd be paying a premium to drop off early and paying for the extra hours where i would otherwise have dc in the car with me. the cheaper one is about 2/3 the price of the more expensive one. it's something like one is 800/mo and the other is 500/mo. [ Reply | More ]
