Just venting (I just have to get this OUT of my system -- TIA for helping me): I know we are fortunate to be placed in NEST, and we are going and we are happy about it. Having said that I can not ignore tiny pain/bitterness in my heart still wishing for A. I know NEST is a great school, but can't stop thinking that A would have been a better match for my dc (don't get me wrong: I'm not saying my dc deserves better -- I'm just wishing & wishing). From this moment on, I'll take a look at this whole school thing with "half full" attitude. Thanks. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I felt the same way about LL. Then I went to register yesterday and everyone was so nice I felt much better. Just remember this could be your DC's world for the next 13 years. You'll forget about Anderson soon enough. [ Reply | More

I registered at LL yesterday and liked it so much better than I did in the fall when I toured it. I actually hated it in the fall, but for some reason ranked it 2nd behind Anderson when it came time to list our choices. I'm so glad I did, as I think it will be great for DD. [ Reply | More

FWIW: my son is about to finish K at NEST. It has been a great year and as the administration matures, I have high hopes. I have also met some great people in the parent body. It is a nice mix and our family could not be happier. (Well, the commute could be easier. And we could have a nice puppy. But other than that, we couldn't be happier.) [ Reply | More
