who has had a cvs recently? did the genetic counselor tell you the risk was about the same as with an amnio? I had an amnio with #1 but am considering a cvs this time. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I chose amnio with #3 (as I did with #2). I remember reading 4yrs ago that the risk was a bit higher with the CVS but maybe with time they improved the technology [ Reply | More

np: It is not the technology that is better, but the doctors have become much better at the procedure after years of practice. In NYC the risk is about the same. [ Reply | More
